* libguile.h: #include "version.h"

* init.c (scm_boot_guile): Call scm_init_version.
* gscm.c (gscm_run_scm): Call scm_init_version.

* configure.in (GUILE_MAJOR_VERSION, GUILE_MINOR_VERSION,
GUILE_VERSION): AC_DEFINE these.
(acconfig.h): #undef the above symbols.

* Makefile.in (libobjs): Add version.o.
(installed_h_files): Add version.h.
(c_files): Add version.c.
(gen_c_files): Add version.x.
(version.o): New rule.
(alist.o, append.o, appinit.o, arbiters.o, async.o, boolean.o,
chars.o, continuations.o, dynwind.o, eq.o, error.o, eval.o,
fdsocket.o, feature.o, files.o, filesys.o, fports.o, gc.o,
